“Squawka” revealed the ten best coaches in the history of the UEFA Champions League, through an assessment monitored by the site specialized in football statistics.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane topped the rankings, although he is the latest competing coach, thanks to his victory three times in a row with Los Blancos Champions League title in 2016, 2017, and 2018 with a success rate of 100%.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola occupied Al Wasafa, where he won the European Championship twice while leading Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, followed by Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, who won three championship titles with two titles with AC Milan in 2003 and 2007, and a third with Real Madrid in 2014.
The rest of the ten coaches came as follows:
4- Jose Mourinho (crowned the title in 2004 with Porto, and 2010 with Inter Milan).
5- Louis van Gaal (crowned title in 1995 with Ajax Amsterdam).
6- Alex Ferguson (crowned with Manchester United in 1999 and 2008).
7- German Joop Hynix (crowned title with Real Madrid in 1998, and with Bayern Munich in 2013).
8- Vicente del Bosque (twice crowned with Real Madrid in 2000 and 2002).
9 – Spain’s Rafael Benitez (crowned with Liverpool in 2005).
10- Ottmar Hitzfeld (crowned title with Borussia Dortmund in 1997, Bayern Munich in 2001).
