Champions Leagues: Real Madrid beat Inter and Atalanta shock Liverpool at home
The Real Madrid team renewed its hopes of qualifying for the price of the European Champions League final, after beating its Italian host Inter in the fourth round of Group Two of the group stage of the continental competition, which also witnessed the victory of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Germany, with a 4-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk.
Mönchengladbach continued to lead the group with 8 points, one point ahead of his closest followers, Real Madrid, while Shakhtar ranked third with 4 points, and Inter sank two points behind.
Real challenged the absence of its stars, French striker Karim Benzema and veteran defender Sergio Ramos, due to injury, to achieve his first victory in its history over Inter in Italian stadiums in European competitions.
