Barcelona suffered a fourth defeat at home, with a score of 1-2, during the confrontation with Cadix, this evening, Saturday, in the framework of the 12th round of La Liga.

Alvaro Jimenez scored for Cádix in the 8th minute, and Alvaro Negredo in the 63rd minute, while Cadix’s Pedro Alcala scored by mistake in his own net 57th minute

Substitute Alvaro Negredo, the Cadix striker, took advantage of a fatal mistake between Lenglet and goalkeeper Ter Stegen to score his team’s second goal in the 63rd-minute first touch after his participation.

Messi almost snatched Barcelona’s equalizer in the 85th minute with a surprise shot inside the area. Still, it was in the middle of the goal, and the goalkeeper Ledesma easily blocked it.

Cadix players maintained their defensive cohesion in the final minutes, snatching 3 valuable points from the Catalan team’s canines.

With this loss, Barcelona’s balance freezes at 14 points in seventh place, while Cadix’s score rises to 18 points in fifth place.
