WhatsApp recently updated the support page, which highlights the operating systems of the devices that support its application, and it has been found that the application will stop working on millions of old mobile devices worldwide next year, and this means that there is only a week left for users of these devices. Only one to update it in case they want to use WhatsApp services.

And through its updated Frequently Asked Questions page, she confirmed that devices running operating systems earlier than (Android 4.0.3) or (iOS 9) would lose access to WhatsApp as of 2021.

WhatsApp is also considered the most popular messaging application globally. The number of its users reached more than two billion users around the world during 2020, and the number of messages sent through it reached 100 billion messages per day. So WhatsApp continues to offer updates and new features to stay ahead of the competition.

The company has supported the application with a lot of features over the past years, including video calls, improved privacy controls, in addition to biometric authentication, integration with the (Any. do) application to add reminders and tasks, the feature of self-disappearing messages, custom backgrounds for each conversation, and more. That’s a lot.

Accordingly, due to the many updates supported by the application, the operating systems in the devices must be updated for the application to work properly, so today, we review devices that will not support the application during 2021 and the solution:

First, Android devices that will not support WhatsApp in 2021:
