Liverpool lose two points against West Bromwich

Defending champions Liverpool fell to a draw at home to West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Sunday evening, in the 15th round of the English Premier League.

Liverpool pressured their opponent from the start of the match. Still, West Bromwich was actually playing six defenders inside the penalty logic, which contributed to reducing the risk of crosses sent from the left side via Robertson.

But the landowner managed to open the scoring in the 12th minute when Matip sent a long ball into the penalty area, which Mane met by completing it skillfully with the net.

Contrary to the meeting’s facts, West Brom managed to score the equalizing goal in the 82nd minute, when Matthews Pereira lifted a ball over Ajay’s head, who shot it to bounce off the bar and into the net.

Liverpool raised its score at the top to 32 points, 3 points behind second-placed Everton, while the guest team’s score rose to 8 points in the 19th and penultimate position.

West Ham tied with Brighton

Ben Johnson and Thomas Sochik scored in the second half as West Ham United came from behind twice to draw 2-2 at home to Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Brighton was the better side at first and deserved the lead before the end of the half, when Niall Mobay hit the net, scoring his first goal since October.

After West Ham failed to hit a goal in the first half, coach David Moyes attacked midfielder Manuel Lanzini and striker Andrei Yarmolenko.

The duo helped West Ham equalize the hour mark through Johnson, who scored his first goal with the team.

Brighton regained their lead from defender Lewis Dunk after a quick corner kick, but Sochik equalized with a header eight minutes from time.

Tottenham continues to stumble and draw with Wolverhampton

Tottenham Hotspur missed the opportunity to approach the competition for the top of the Premier League championship, after falling into a 1-1 positive draw against Wolverhampton.

Tottenham, who continued their disappointing results after failing to achieve any victory for the fourth consecutive match in the tournament, is in fifth place with 26 points, six points behind Liverpool (the leaders).

In contrast, Wolverhampton increased to 21 points in 11th place.

Tottenham advanced with an early goal bearing the signature of Frenchman Tangi Ndombele in the first seconds of the match, but Moroccan Roman Saiss equalized in favor of Wolverhampton in the 86th minute, to the London team wasting the opportunity to advance to third place in the competition ranking, after failing to secure the match’s three points.
