According to an English press report, Manchester City is keen to sign the Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland, the star of Borussia Dortmund, next summer.
Haaland (19 years) offers great levels with Dortmund since joining the team, which makes him the focus of intense conflict between the two neighbors, Manchester City and Manchester United, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”.
The newspaper indicated that Manchester City would depend, in Haaland’s deal, on the percentage of the sale in the contract of his former player, Jadon Sancho, the current Dortmund star.
City’s percentage of Sancho’s deal is expected to be more than 15 million pounds, as Dortmund asked United last summer 120 million pounds, in exchange for abandoning his young player.
Thus, Manchester City will try to agree with Dortmund, to waive the percentage of sales, to get closer than any other club to annex Haaland, according to the British newspaper.
