Manchester United rose to the top of the Premier League, after defeating its host Burnley with a goal without a response, in the match that was hosted by Turf Moore on Tuesday evening, in the postponed match of the first round.

Pogba scored the goal for Manchester United in the match in the 71st minute, after Rashford sent a cross from the right side, Pogba followed it with a direct shot at the bird from the edge of the penalty area, colliding with Pluton, who changed direction and entered the net.

Manchester United raised their tally to 36 points at the Premier League’s top, while Burnley stuck to 16 points in 16th.

This achievement is considered the first for Manchester United since the era of Ferguson in May 19, 2013.
