Liverpool received a big boost before facing Manchester United on Sunday in the 19th round of Premier League life.

According to the British newspaper “Mirror”, Cameroonian Joel Matip, Liverpool defender, has returned to participate in the Reds squad’s training and is a candidate to attend tomorrow’s match.

Liverpool is suffering hard on defense this season, after the duo Virgil Van Djik and Joe Gomez suffered lengthy injuries and the squad, which did not include any new offers in the back row.

Matip suffered a thigh injury in the Premier League draw with West Bromwich Albion, and Reds coach Juergen Klopp has said the player would miss games for 3 weeks.

It should be noted that Liverpool is second in the Premier League table with 33 points, 3 points behind leaders Manchester United.
