A Spanish press report revealed today, Sunday, the position of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos regarding the loss of the Merengue against Levante.
Real Madrid suffered a surprise loss at home to Levante, on Saturday, 2-1, in the 21st round of La Liga matches.
Ramos missed that match due to injury, as Brazilian Eder Militao participated in his place, and received a red card half an hour after the start of the match.
According to the Spanish “Divensa Central” website, which is close to Real Madrid, Ramos was keen to go to the Merengue dressing room after the match, to tighten his colleagues’ arms and raise their morale.
The report revealed what Ramos said to his teammates after the match, as he accused the mouse technique of losing the Real, and said: “The referee of the mouse caused Militao to be sent off and a penalty kick against us.”
He added, “Militao’s penalty was supposed to be a yellow card at the latest, but the La Liga race is not over yet.”
He concluded, “They will not be able to defeat us.”
