Inter Milan holds the lead temporarily

Inter Milan clinched the top of the Italian football league, temporarily, after defeating host Fiorentina 2-0 on Friday in the twenty-first round of the league.

Inter scored the first goal in the 31st minute through Nicolo Barrella, and the second goal came from brilliant Ivan Perisic, following an excellent pass from Achraf Hakimi in the penalty area in the 54th minute.

Inter Milan lifted its score to 47 points at the top of the standings, temporarily, by one point ahead of Milan, who faces Crotone on Sunday, while Fiorentina’s score stopped at 22 points in twelfth place.
