Big teams: some of them failed and some of them scored the full mark

Bundesliga:

Borussia Dortmund came back on the track of victories, beating Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 Saturday Bundesliga.

Paco Alcacer (28 ‘), Marco Ruiz (50’ and 90 ‘) and Rafael Guerrero (83’) scored Dortmund’s fourth goal.

Dortmund sent a powerful message to his opponent Barcelona before next Tuesday.
Bayern Munich missed the opportunity to lead the Bundesliga after a 1-1 draw in Leipzig.

In the second half, Gerard Pique scored the third goal in the 51st minute, and Suarez returned from an injury and managed to score the 4th and 5th goals in 61st and 82nd minutes. In contrast, Maximiliano Gomez scored the second goal for Valencia in the second minute of additional time.

With his home fans’ support, Real Sociedad put an end to Atlético Madrid’s perfect start to the new Liga season after a deserved 2-0 win on Saturday.

Former Real Madrid player Martin Odegaard gave the team the advantage of coming from Basque province after 58 minutes.

Newcomer Nacho Monreal doubled Sociedad’s lead after three minutes when he took advantage of a mistake by Atletico’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Premier League:

Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham regained their winning streak on Saturday in the fifth round of the Premier League, with their first tough win over Leicester City with a clean goal (Marcus Rashford from an eighth-minute penalty), and the second against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC 5-2 (and Chelsea’s progress with four goals scored by Vikayo Timuri in the 31st minute and Abraham in the 34th, 41st and 55th minutes, before Romain Sassi and Patrick Cotroni, scored in the 70th and 85th minutes, while Chelsea ended the fifth goal through Mason Montt in the sixth minute of overtime, and the third is against Crystal Palace with a clean quad (Hyung Min scored two goals in the 10th and 23rd minutes, and a goal scored by Patrick van Anholt by mistake in the goal of his team in the 21st minute and added the Argentine Eric Lamela the fourth goal for Tottenham in the 42nd minute).

Senegal international striker Sadio Mane scored twice. His Egyptian team-mate Mohamed Salah added a goal to lead Liverpool to a late 3-1 victory over Newcastle on Saturday in the opening of the fifth round of the Premier League.

Dutchman Jetro Willems scored Newcastle’s goal in the seventh minute, and Liverpool responded with two goals for Sadio Mane (28 and 40). In the second half, Salah scored a magnificent goal (82), confirming Liverpool’s victory.

Serie A:

Juventus squandered two valuable points in their fight for the Serie A title this season, falling into the trap of a scoreless draw against hosts Fiorentina on Saturday in the third round of the competition.

Inter Milan has temporarily taken the lead in Serie A after beating Udinese 1-0 on Saturday in the third round, which saw Napoli beat Sampdoria 2-0.

This victory was attributed to Inter by Stefano Sensei, who scored the game’s only goal in the 44th minute.

Inter have increased their total points to nine at the top of the standings provisionally, pending the rest of the round, while Udinese stopped at three points in 14th place.
