Brazilian defender on Barcelona’s radar

A Spanish press report revealed, today, Monday, that Barcelona has identified a Brazilian defender to strengthen his defenses in the Mercato next summer.

Barcelona seeks to secure this position, especially with the age of Gerard Pique, and the repetition of the mistakes of the French duo, Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet, in addition to the young age of the duo Oscar Minguisa and Ronald Araujo.

According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, although Barcelona is close to contracting with Spaniard Eric Garcia, Manchester City defender, Ronald Koeman is seeking to include another defender, the Brazilian Natan Bernardo, a Flamengo player.

The newspaper added that Barcelona is following Natan to judge his level before joining him in the next summer Mercato, despite the fact that the penalty clause in his contract is 70 million euros.

Barcelona is not the only club that follows Natan, but rather there is English interest in joining him from Manchester United and Liverpool.
