CAF: The calendar of the finals of theinter club competitions unveiled

The African Football Confederation (CAF) unveiled, Monday, August 3, the dates of the semi-finals and finals of the Confederation Cup and the Champions League.

In a statement, CAF confirmed on September 22, the date on which the Confederation Final 4 between the Pyramids of Egypt and the Guinean Horoya will take place, at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.

The other semi-final between Berkane and Hassania Agadir will be held the same day at the Moulay-Abdallah sports complex in Rabat.

As for the final of the tournament, the date put forward is September 27 at the Moulay-Abdallah sports complex. In addition, CAF wanted to clarify that all matches will be played behind closed doors.

On the other hand, the semi-finals of the Champions League will take place back and forth. The African body specifies that the two meetings are scheduled for September 25 and 26 in Morocco and October 2 and 3 back in Egypt.

The last square opposes on one side, the Raja (Morocco) to Zamalek (Egypt), and on the other hand the Wydad (Morocco) to Al Ahly (Egypt). The final will be held on October 16 or 17 either in Morocco or Egypt in the event that two clubs from the same country reach the final.

Otherwise, the final will take place on neutral ground in the event of opposition between an Egyptian team and a Moroccan team. To this end, CAF has launched a call for candidates until August 17.
