The Confederation of African Football announced on its official website today, Thursday, that the Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected Al-Ahly’s request to postpone the African Champions League final scheduled for the thirtieth of next month.

Al-Ahly of Egypt had stuck to its objection regarding the venue for the final match of the African Champions League in Morocco next Monday and submitted its request to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Al-Ahly objected to Morocco hosting the match due to the presence of Wydad club as a party in the final.

The African Union confirmed earlier that the selection of Morocco came after the withdrawal of Senegal, which submitted, with Morocco only, a request to host the final.
