Chelsea, England, and Seville, Spain, decided their qualification for the 16th round of the European Champions League early, by winning the same score 2-1 over their hosts Rennes of France and Krasnodar of Russia, Tawalia, on Tuesday, in the fourth round of Group E competitions.

Chelsea topped the group with ten points with a goal difference from Seville, and they are competing in the last two rounds for who will get the first place in the group after they secured the two qualifying cards mathematically, while Rennes and Krasnodar have frozen at one point and the only competition between them is for the third place and the qualifying consolation card for the 32nd round in European League (Europa League).
