Former Manchester United player Marouane Fellaini left the hospital on Tuesday after recovering from COVID-19, his Chinese Premier League club Shandong Luneng said.

“Fellaini was examined and found to be cured and has been released from the hospital today,” the club said.

As provided for in the protocol in China, the 32-year-old will spend 14 days in quarantine before he can resume training.

During his hospitalization, the Belgian still seemed to be well and proved it by posting a video on Instagram, showing him doing several physical exercises to keep in shape.

Thank you everyone for all your messages. I am still in hospital but getting stronger every day,” he wrote to his fans.
