Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland scored their first goal since returning from football on Saturday afternoon when they met their club against Schalke 04.
The return of football has been hailed around the world, with the Bundesliga becoming the first of the major European leagues to return to the game.
Erling Haaland, 19, produced a nice finish to open the scoring for Dortmund against Schalke 04. The BVB dominated the Royal Blues with 4 goals to 0.
Goals from Erling Haaland (29th), Raphael Guerreiro (45th, 63rd), and Thorgan Hazard (48th) earned the BVB three points.
The result also helped the BVB win its 800th Bundesliga victory and bring its total to 54 points, one less than Bayern Munich. Bayern will face Union Berlin on Sunday.
Haaland, Hazard and Guerreiro couldn’t appreciate celebrating in front of an empty crowd for their return to football.
