Argentine star Lionel Messi carried out individual training Wednesday, outside the group training of his team Barcelona, without suffering any injury, according to sources inside the Catalan club.
The sources added that Messi “went to the training headquarters and did a different exercise,” noting that the 32-year-old Argentine “does not suffer from any problem.”
According to Spanish newspapers, Messi stayed in the training hall to follow a program specially developed for him by the technical staff of Barcelona.
As for the newspaper “AS”, it indicated that Messi took an individual action to strengthen the muscles of the calf in the right leg, noting that he had been out of action for a month and a half at the beginning of the current season due to his injury in this place.
Barcelona coach Kiki Seten decided to give his players a one-day break on Thursday and return to training on Friday.
