This 60,000-seat stadium will host Monday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m. local time, the first of 64 matches in the first World Cup in history to be played in November / December.
FIFA has unveiled the official program of the competition, including four group matches per day, making up a tighter schedule until the final scheduled on December 18 at 6:00 p.m., a national holiday in Qatar, in front of 80,000 people at Lusail Stadium .
The group stage matches will take place at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. (local time), while the knockout matches will be held at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The final draw should be known in March 2022, once the qualification phases have been completed.
