Impressive words to Sergio Ramos after wasting two penalty kicks

Spain captain Sergio Ramos missed two penalty kicks in his country’s 1-1 draw with host Switzerland in the European Nations League, but the “hammer” asked his colleagues to forget the past and look to the future.

َfter Sergio Ramos became the most played European player in international matches, he became the first Spaniard to miss two penalties in one match with his country.

Sergio Ramos left a negative imprint, as after scoring 25 consecutive penalty kicks with La Roja and Real Madrid, he missed two consecutive penalties in the second half. At the same time, he successfully removed the ball from the goal line to prevent Switzerland from leading 2-0.

However, Sergio Ramos resorted to his official account on Instagram to invite his teammates to focus on facing Germany on Tuesday instead of bemoaning the result of yesterday’s Switzerland match.
“We fought to get a difficult point … It is time to prepare and fight the victory battle in Seville (against Germany),” he wrote.

“Mistakes do not define our future, but rather the way we focus on achieving our future goals,” he added.

Spain needs to defeat Germany to win its place in the European Nations League golden square.
