Mallorca owes credit for this win to Irish striker Lago Junior, who scored the only goal of the match in the seventh minute, and Real Madrid has played with 10 players since the 74th minute after Alvaro Odedzula was sent off, following the second warning.
Real’s defeat came after a good march for the Royal Club under the guidance of French coach Zinedine Zidane saw the team win five times and draw three times.
The win gave Mallorca three valuable points, bringing their score to 10 points in 14th place, while Real remains in second place, one point ahead of Barcelona.

Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and Argentine star Lionel Messi added the second goal in the 58th minute before Luis Suarez completed the third in the 66th minute after a pass from Messi.
The winner increased his total to 19 points, taking the lead of one point against Real Madrid.
