The Everton team achieved its fourth successive victory after beating Brighton 4-2 on Saturday in the English Premier League’s fourth round. Colombian James Rodriguez continued his brilliance by scoring two goals.

Everton took the lead, scored by Dominic Lewin in the 16th minute, then Brighton equalized in the 41st minute, through French striker Neil Mobay.

Colombian defender Yari Mina added the second goal for Everton, in stoppage time in the first half.

The other Colombian, Rodriguez, confirmed Everton’s victory by scoring two consecutive goals in the 52nd and 70th minutes, bringing his score in 4 matches to 3 goals, in a great start to him since his recent move to the Premier League from Real Madrid.

Mali Yves Besuma reduced Brighton’s score, scoring an honorable goal in the last minute of the match.

With this victory, Everton continued its strong start, achieving its fourth successive victory, at the top of the table with 12 points, while Brighton stuck at 3 points in the 14th place.
