Juventus returned to first place in the Serie A table after winning a precious double with a clear victory over their guest Inter Milan in a match postponed from the 26th week of the competition.
The two teams were unable to touch the net in the first half of the match, which went without supporters due to the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
Juventus imposed full dominance in the second period and scored two goals to secure their third consecutive tournament win this season.
Welshman Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring for Juventus in the 55th minute, while Argentina’s Paulo Dybala added the second goal in the 67th minute shortly after joining the meeting from the bench.
Juventus – the competition’s previous eight seasons – have scored 63 points to regain the lead in Serie A, one point ahead of their closest team, Lazio.
On the other hand, Inter Milan’s score is frozen at 54 points in third place and has a postponed match with Sampdoria, to stay away from the head of the fight after receiving their third defeat in the championship this season and the second in a row.
