Klopp: Mo Salah is not going anywhere

Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp has confirmed that Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Reds star, will not go anywhere.

Many reports have linked Salah with a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Klopp said, in statements highlighted by the British newspaper ” Mirror “: “Not selling Salah is very important, whether for the team or for Mo to remain with us here.”

He added: “I do not have to praise my players very often, but I always like to do this.”

The German coach added: “But in Salah’s case, his numbers speak for themselves only. He is not just a scorer. He has developed a lot on the level of football intelligence, and he is a very important player for us.”

Klopp continued: “I hope that Salah will be at this level for a very long time.”

Added: “Facing Sheffield? The matches we analyzed for them show that they have improved in the last 7 or 8 meetings, and now they are also achieving results, but even before that I saw that they were not so lucky.”

He added, “It is a similar situation to us. The decline in results is not due to poor performance, but because the two teams do not make the correct decisions at crucial moments.”

He concluded, “As long as my team shows that it has a desire to win or change the situation in which we are living, I will fully support it.”
