Kobe Bryant’s favorite club AC Milan pays tribute to him
The Milan team had black armbands and fans in the stands were wearing LA number jerseys as they watched a minute of silence for Bryant, who was tragically killed in a helicopter accident with his 13-year-old girl and seven others on Sunday near Calabasas, California. He was 41 years old.

In 2013, Bryant visited the AC Milan training center, the Milanello Sports Center, met some players and even took photos with the iconic Rossoneri Jersey. Speaking to the media in Italian after his visit, Bryant confessed his love for the club since he was a child.
he said “I have been a supporter of AC Milan since my childhood. Being here is a great honor for me. When I was young, watching Gullit, Van Basten and Maldini, it was like a dream for me. AC Milan has always been my favorite team. It always has a special place in my heart. Back in Los Angeles, I have a scarf and a Milanese shirt hanging in my locker room and I see them every day”.
