La Liga: Coronavirus case at Real Madrid

After Real Madrid player Mariano Diaz, three other players in the Spanish D1 and D2 championship have tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Sevilla FC, who will face AS Roma on 06 August in the round of 16 of the Europa League, have announced that one of their players has been infected with the virus.

“After the PCR tests carried out last Sunday on the players, the staff and the rest of the staff, and the results of which were known on Monday July 27, a member of the first team tested positive for Covid-19”, indicated the club in a press release.

The two-second division teams in the Spanish league, Almeria and Zaragoza, which are due to play in the La Liga D1 accession play-offs, have indicated that positive Covid-19 cases have been detected and have suspended their training.
