The Spanish Football League “La Liga” has caved in to the local federation and will redistribute the first division matches to Saturday and Sunday, thus modifying the opening match between Granada and Athletic Bilbao, originally scheduled for Friday.

The match was scheduled for 9 pm local time (19:00 GMT), so it was reprogrammed to Saturday at 18:30 local time.

The tournament will then open with the match Eibar and Celta Vigo Saturday at 4 pm.

The league has always disagreed with the federation over scheduling matches, as the association wishes to extend the days of the rounds between Friday and Monday, while the federation wants to limit them between Saturday and Sunday.

“With the aim of avoiding the sports damage that cannot be repaired by this nonsense by the Spanish Federation, the Spanish Federation has reprogrammed the matches scheduled for Friday and Monday in this first stage,” the federation continued in a statement.

A Madrid court will issue its judgment in October regarding the eligibility of the decision-maker to program matches in the league, and put an end to a dispute that has been going on for more than a year. ”

The Monday match between Alaves and Betis was presented to Sunday, to conclude the stage in the Valencia derby between Valencia And Levante Sunday evening.
