FC Barcelona approached the inclusion of Argentine star Lautaro Martinez, Inter Milan striker, during the next summer transfer window.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” mentioned that Barcelona reached an agreement with the player according to his personal conditions, but that he is left with him to obtain the approval of his club.
The newspaper added that Inter put an amount of one hundred million euros as a penalty clause in the player’s contract, for clubs wishing to include him in the first two weeks of July.
The newspaper added that there are three players Barcelona offered to Inter to include one of them, in exchange for agreeing to the transfer of Martinez, and they are: Frenchman Ousmane Dembele, or Chilean Arturo Vidal, or Brazilian Felipe Coutinho.
The English clubs Chelsea and Real Madrid expressed their desire to include the 22-year-old, but it seems that he preferred to play alongside his country’s captain Lionel Messi.
