Manchester City lay down the plan to kidnap David Alaba from Real Madrid
According to an English press report, today, Monday, Manchester City aims to kidnap Austrian David Alaba, Bayern Munich defender, before Real Madrid.
Alaba’s contract with Bayern ends at the end of this season, and he decided to embark on a new experience outside the Bundesliga, as his name was strongly associated with a move to Real Madrid.
According to the British newspaper “The Sun”, Manchester City intends to provide Alaba with a huge weekly salary of 370 thousand pounds, in order to lure him to sign for Citizens.
Manchester City is trying to prevent Alaba from signing for Real Madrid by fulfilling his financial demands, as Pep Guardiola, the team’s technical director and former Alaba coach at Bayern Munich, called for the Austrian defender to be brought to the Etihad Stadium.
However, the newspaper pointed out, Alaba would like to receive £ 400,000 a week from his new club.
It is worth noting that Alaba is considered a target for many major European clubs, not just Real Madrid and Manchester City. There are also Liverpool, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain seeking to win the promising services player.
