Miralem Pjanic to Barcelona for 60 million euros

Barcelona announced on Monday, 29 June, that it signed a contract with Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Juventus for 60 million euros, after the transfer of Brazilian player Artur Melo to the Italian club for 72 million euros.

Barcelona said in a statement that Pjanic, 30, will sign a contract with the Spanish champion for four seasons, in a deal worth 60 million euros, plus five million incentives and bonuses, to be enrolled in his classes after the end of the season.

The Catalan club set the value of the penalty clause to dispense with its new player, at 400 million euros.

It is worth noting that, on the same day, Al-Bursa officially announced the transfer of Artur Melo to Barcelona.
