Mourinho: Kane will break all records

Jose Mourinho, coach of Tottenham Hotspur, expressed his complete satisfaction with the level presented by his team in defeating its guest West Bromwich with two unanswered goals, today, Sunday, in the matches of the 23rd round of the English Premier League.

“I liked the flexibility, commitment and effort of the players,” Mourinho said in comments after the match to “BT Sport”: “The wish was to show everyone how we looked together and how much we suffered from the recent negative results, and how much we wanted to win, this is essential.”

He added, “We controlled the first half and we could kill the match. Between the two halves, we were confident and positive. I spoke with the players for only one minute, and we were on the right path.”

Mourinho continued: “Harry Kane is a special player in the history of the club, who will break every possible record. We made very good individual performances today.”

He concluded: “By the end of the season, we will have the truth. We will be where we belong and which we deserve.”

“The players wanted to win that match. We suffered a series of negative results, so it was important to come back to the path of victories,” Son said in comments after the match, reported by BBC.

He added: “Harry Kane is very important to us, he is one of the best strikers in the world, he missed us in only two matches, but we missed him a lot, and his return and his registration were what we needed.”

He continued: “The team made a great effort for me and the rest of the players. It was important to show our ability to score some goals.”

He concluded: “It was very important to believe in our ability to provide better things today. We achieved the result we wanted, but we can still do better. I trust the team.”
