UEFA has announced the postponement of the European Cup of Nations (Euro 2020), scheduled for next summer, until next year, due to the epidemic of A Coruña virus.
The federation informed its 55 members of the local federation of the decision to postpone after the emergency meeting of its executive committee which was held today Tuesday at the union headquarters in the Swiss city of Neon.
Twelve European cities in 12 countries were scheduled to host the tournament between June 12 and July 12.
The postponement decision will pave the way for the completion of the national league matches and the Champions League and European league matches.
On the other hand, the South American Football Association has decided to postpone the Copa America tournament, scheduled for next summer.
