Barcelona’s star and captain, Lionel Messi, is angry at the statements of some Paris Saint-Germain players about his future, in addition to the leakage of his contract with his club, according to a Catalan press report.
PSG’s Argentine duo, Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria, Brazilian Neymar, and even coach Mauricio Pochettino have talked about the possibility of Messi joining the team.
This was described by Barca coach Ronald Koeman as “a lack of respect,” considering that these talks aim to ignite the upcoming confrontation between the two teams, in the price of the Champions League final.
Messi had recently stated that he would not make any decision regarding his fate until after the end of the current season.
The Catalan newspaper “Sport” quoted sources close to the leader of the Blaugrana, today, Thursday, that the latter was tired of rumors linking him to Paris Saint-Germain, stressing that he had nothing to do with it.
The newspaper added that those close to Messi say that he has not spoken with anyone from the Parisian club about his future, and his plan is to postpone the resolution of his fate, at least until the Barcelona elections scheduled for March 7, to talk with the new president.
