Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, promised his counterpart Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, regarding negotiations with Sergio Ramos, the Merengue defender. French
Newspaper L’Equipe stated that the Parisian club wants to include Ramos after the end of his contract with Real at the end of the current season.
She added that Al-Khelaifi made a promise to Perez that his club, despite its desire to include the player, will not try to sign him until negotiations are finally over to renew his contract with Real Madrid.
Ramos’ contract with the royal club expires at the end of the current season. The two parties have not reached an agreement about the renewal, so far, as tension prevails in Ramos and Real Madrid’s relationship, in light of the veteran defender’s desire to obtain 12 million euros in annual salary. In contrast, the white club wants to reduce his salary for 10 million.
