Rafael Nadal achieves his 1000 victory and joins the three legends of tennis

The Spanish star Rafael Nadal continued his distinguished figures in tennis after reaching the “thousand” victory in his professional career, after defeating his compatriot Feliciano Lopez in the second round of the Paris tournament, the last of the “Masters” tournaments for a thousand points.

The official WTA account celebrated Nadal’s “thousand” victory by posting videos of his victories and honoring him with the 1000th victory shield he achieved 18 years after his first victory in the “Mallorca” tournament, his hometown, in 2002.

In turn, the Spanish matador thanked – on his official page on Twitter – those who honored him and celebrated his historic achievement.

Nadal, ranked number two in the world, became the fourth player to achieve this achievement after American Jimmy Connors (1274), Roger Federer (1242), and American Evan Lendell (1068).
