Manchester United defeated Everton 3-1 during the match that brought them together on Friday in the third round of the FA Cup.

Manchester United advanced with a goal scored by Anthony in the fourth minute, but Everton managed to adjust the score in the 14th minute through Connor Cody, to end the first half with a 1-1 draw.

In the second half, Manchester United succeeded in scoring the second goal in the 52nd minute with a friendly fire goal scored by Connor Cody, Everton player, by mistake in his own goal, then Marcus Rashford added the third goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time for the match from a penalty kick, and with this victory he qualified Manchester United to the fourth round of the championship.
