A British report confirmed that the Senegalese star Sadio Mane raised the concerns of his club, Liverpool, that he could leave Anfield this summer because he did not respond to the club’s offer to renew his contract nine months ago.

British newspaper The Sun reported that Mane, 28, who has a market value of $ 185 million, had not responded for nine months to his Premier League club offer, or even indicated that he would sign the new contract.

The newspaper added that Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp has concerns about Mane, who considers him one of the main pillars of the Reds future, noting that the German coach does not persuade him to sign Mani with the team until 2023, but rather wants to ensure that he remains in Anfield as long as possible.

The newspaper added that Liverpool is seeking to ensure the continuation of Mane after the approval of Dutch defender Virgil van Dyck to sign a new contract worth 309 million dollars until 2025, with a weekly salary of 270 thousand dollars, which will make him the highest-paid player in the club’s history.

The Sun confirmed that Liverpool is ready to equate Mane with Van Dyck to ensure he signs the new contract, but his hopes are threatened by the presence of two bigs offers for the Senegalese striker from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Earlier reports said that Real coach Zinedine Zidane had spoken to Mani and informed him of his desire to wear the royal shirt. He also entered St. Germain on the negotiating line until he exchanged a deal with Killian Mbappe while Levopol paid an additional amount of 247 million dollars.
