Seville meets Man United and Shakhtar faces Inter in the Europa League semi-finals

The Spanish teams Sevilla and Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk qualified to the semi-finals of the European Football League after the first victory over Wolverhampton 1-0, and the second over Swiss Basel 4-1 in the quarter-finals.

Sevilla hit a date with Manchester United next Sunday in a strong match in the semi-finals of the tournament, while Shakhtar will face Inter Milan next Monday.

After Raul Jimenez missed a penalty kick for Wolverhampton, Lucas Ocampos scored the winning goal for Seville in the 88th minute to settle the match in favor of his team.

On the contrary, Shakhtar’s victory over Basel was celebrated with goals and excitement, and the Ukrainian team began to score early in the second minute through Junior Moraes, and Tyson added the second goal in the 22nd minute.

Alan Patrick scored the second goal from a penalty kick in the 75th minute, and Dumelson Cordero dos Santos added the fourth goal in the 88th minute, before Ricky Van Volsvinkel reduced the score two minutes later by scoring the only Basel goal.

The European Union Football Association (UEFA) decided to hold the knockout matches in a one-match starting from the final eight of the tournament, and to hold all the tournament matches in the Rhein-Ruhr region of western Germany.
