Milan, the top of the Serie A, after defeating its host Cagliari (2-0) on Monday, in the 18th stage of the competition.

With time, the Cagliari team began to break free from the defensive style and resort to attacking Milan’s goal, with the help of Belgian midfielder Radia Nainggolan and winger Gaston Perrero and his colleague João Galvão, and striker Giovanni Simeone.

After the end of the first half without changing the score, the second half began with Milan’s attacks, where he scored another goal through Ibrahimovic in the 52nd minute, when he received a long ball from David Calabria to advance towards Cagliari’s goal and put the ball in the left corner of Karajni’s goal.

And after coming on as a substitute in the 66th minute, the Belgian Salmakers midfielder was sent off after receiving the second yellow card, following a strong intervention on a Cagliari player, so Milan completed the match with 10 players.

The remaining minutes of the second half did not witness anything new, as the referee blew the whistle at the end of the match, winning Milan (2-0).

Milan raised its score to 43 points at the top of the standings, 3 points behind second-placed Inter Milan, on the other hand, Cagliari’s balance stuck at 14 points in 17th place.
